The first generation to face social, industrial, and scientific change at speed. They experienced the beginnings of space travel, they searched for a meaning in a time when the human race was, for the first time, in possible danger of self-destruction; yet they survived, and have themselves settled back to let the young ones take on the world’s responsibilities. They are still active, thinking, and wondering where the youth of today is heading. This programme is by them, and for them.

about themselves, their countries and the studies and
research they are carrying out in Adelaide. The program
is also broadcast on the Internet so that families and
friends who are overseas can hear the broadcast live.
Talking on radio is a skill, which many students will
find useful at some stage of their careers when they
return to their own country, and there are many advantages
for them in learning this skill early and finding out
that it is not so difficult as they expect. Presented

The Little Big Show
Fridays @ 10.00 pm
Key Contact: Lisa Pellegrino
Tune in your radios for some old and new-school delights. The Little Big show is a chilled out collection of some of your favourite and ‘not so well known’ tracks of the funk, soul, world and lounge division. Anything from the tunes of Doris day to Motown, disco and 80’s tracks will feature along with interviews, reviews and chat about those things that time forgot!
Now, I’m a big fan of vinyl and record hunting (frequently spending my days in the dusty boxes of op shops) and so the obscure, novel and quirky will also be on the cards.
And everybody loves a bargain, right? Well, never fear- I do the hunting-you get the dig! Each week there will be a ‘give-away record’, picked up on one of my many record digs- it may be good, it may be awful but no matter what- it’s free!
So sit back, relax or put on your dancing shows- It’s time for The Little Big Show with Little Lisa
