Sarah TomlinsonSarah Tomlinson
Training Co-ordinator

Orange blossom is a good deal to blame for Sarah Tomlinson’s radio career. She discovered early that one way to avoid sneezing through a Mallee spring was to lock herself in a soundproof room!

Sarah has been a broadcaster since she was 14 working on many stations including the RPH service, ABC local, and Community radio HOT FM where she hosted “Sarah’s Shed” - a big hit with those driving home from the local footy match.

A university enrolment in 2002 led her to the door of Radio Adelaide. Since then she has produced and presented for the Radio Adelaide Breakfast program, been at home on The Range, looked after Launch Pad, written, interviewed, recorded, talked, paneled and played - generally loving being a part of the Radio Adelaide family. Sarah also spent many happy years as the host of ‘Country Café’ on weekend mornings, hearing the good old stories, friendliness and sincerity of the country scene and its listeners. Sarah has hosted programs and award ceremonies, such as The Independent Country Music Awards of Australia broadcasted nationally each year.

In her role as the Training Coordinator, Sarah loves sharing her passion for radio. She believes this lasting and engaging medium is built on imagination and ideas, not borders and boundaries. Come and have a chat with her in the Radio Adelaide Training Office.

(For the record, the only thing you’ll hear when playing a country song backwards is Sarah advising that you need more tech training..)
