Sarah TomlinsonSarah Tomlinson
Training Co-ordinator

It was orange blossom that began Sarah Tomlinson’s radio career in her hometown of Mildura, VIC at age 14. Why sneeze through a mallee Spring when one can lock themselves in a soundproof studio and keep a whole world entertained!

Sarah has been a broadcaster on many community stations including the RPH service, SON FM, and HOT FM in which she hosted “Sarah’s Shed”, (a big hit with those driving home from the local footy match) before becoming involved in the Country Music industry and hosting programs, ceremonies, and national broadcasts such as The Independent Country Awards of Australia each year. A move to the city and a University enrolment in 2002 lead her to the door of Radio Adelaide where she became the regular host of Country Café on Sunday mornings and ever since has enjoyed capturing and presenting the friendliness, sincerity and good old stories that come with country.

Now in her new role as the Radio Adelaide Training Co-ordinator, this keen writer, producer, and graduate of the University of Adelaide’s Bachelor of Media degree is looking forward to sharing her passion for radio, which she believes is such a lasting and engaging medium built on imagination and ideas, not borders and boundaries. Come and have a chat with her in the Radio Adelaide Training Office.

..And for the record, the only thing you’ll hear when playing a country song backwards is Sarah advising you that you require more training in your panel operation.
